Emerson was loving the break of good weather this weekend. On Friday she went to the aquarium and village with Daddy and Papi and then met Mommy at Friendlies for lunch. She was so tired that she fell asleep on Mommy's lap before the drinks even came. Later in the afternoon Daddy brought Emerson outside to experience all the great Springtime activities. They played soccer, had fun on the swings, and the highlight of the day was Emerson riding her bike and scooter on the road. She practices in the house and hasn't been able to really pedal her bike, until this weekend!!! ;-) Daddy surprised Mommy with a cool video and Emerson was so excited and happy. It was awesome to hear the squeaking of her wheels and the joy in her voice. We love to see her conquer a new activity for the first time.

On Saturday we met Ronan and Keke at Harkness to hit the pavement some more. Emerson was much more excited to ride her scooter and challenged Ronan to a race. He didn't do too well on her little pink and purple bike, but she forcefully said "Ronan, go get on your bike". It was so funny to watch. We were surprised that she was able to ride for so long without getting tired. She made it around the circle and down to the horse barn. We walked up the big hill on the way back, but she jump right back on at the top. Amazing to see her determination and focus, as well as her ability to laugh and enjoy every moment! It was a great weekend of getting fresh air.
Tomorrow we'll be ready for fun in the snow and hot chocolate with FLUFF!! ;-)
