Easter was delightful for Emerson. Prior to Easter day we went to the Curries for an awesome egg hunt (indoors due to the rain). Donna hid eggs all over Anne Marie's house and the kids not only got candy, she also had lots of fun prizes for everyone (musical instruments, spining tops, jelly bean pooping bunnies, chalk, etc). Donna's amazing! Emerson also loved coloring eggs with Lola even though she wouldn't eat one. She was happy to make eggs for Daddy, Lola and Papi.
On Easter morning she was so excited to find her basket, after noticing that the bunny ate the carrots we left. She didn't have a total sugar overload, but did enjoy a Peep or two!! We went to Aunt Roberta's for dinner and an egg hunt later in the day. She had a blast playing with her cousins outside, rough housing with swords, balls and scooters.
